Though May Lee's own sewing skill she managed to take the Classic 50's Design and transform the iconic character into her more modern self, drawing odd looks from some of the drones. Ah well. She also didn't bother with the blonde wig. But hey, she was a superhero, damnit!-

I never really dug the American ones, but I gotta give props to Kara Zor-El's fashion sense.

Character Name: Jinju "May" Lee in Western Order.

Character Series: King of Fighters

Character Age: 23-24 as of KoF XI

Background: Oddly enough, she has an article on Trip Atlas of all places

Personality: May Lee is intense, energetic, and robust. She is nearly constantly turned up to eleven though she does show a calm side around her closer friends, especially when she's in a meditative state. That being said, she has very little trouble making friends and will stay loyal to the people she considers close to the very end. Her patriotism is also very strong, and she truly believes that South Korea is the greatest nation in the world. This often leads her to making comparisons between it and other nations, oftentimes in a ridiculous fashion. May Lee also has extreme pride in her martial art, calling it the "Sport of Kings", and feels that all other martial arts are iherently inferior to it (in spite of her using the unorthodox "hero" style).

May Lee has dedication and pride. She never gives up on anything, and when she has her heart set on a goal, she goes after it with all the fury and intensity she can muster. You can count on May Lee anytime to not only get a job done, but get it done right and fast (and with style). She has taken the heroism she learned from the takusatsu stars she grew up on and applied it to herself in such a way that has bettered her life and herself as a person. She believes in heroes, and wants to be a hero to others.

May Lee's intensity is also a weakness. She is rarely able to calm down and see things with a clear mind. Her pride can also be turned against her, due to her often taking challenges too great for her to handle. In general, her personality is a double edged sword for her. It can be a great strength, or a great weakness. And because she never backs down, she often finds herself in no-win situations. In the KoF 2001 comic, we see this when she attempts to take on Zero and gets a thorough and vicious beating for her efforts. Not once did she ever give up in the fight, which only lead her to being hurt worse.

All in all, May Lee can be summed up by the fact that she's a normal girl trying to be something of a super hero. The problem with this is that super heroes don't work so well in the real world...

Why did your character accept the invitation?: Having sat out the King of Fighters tournament for several years now, May Lee jumps on this chance to prove herself worthy of a permanent slot in Team Korea's kof team. To honor her country, her master, and wanna-be super heroes everywhere!

Character's occupation: May Lee would, of course, be a fighter.
